The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology will host a worldwide AI conference on July 3-4 to examine issues concerning artificial intelligence, with India strongly committed to this new technology’s ethical and inclusive evolution.

India hopes to establish itself as a global leader in AI innovation through the “Global IndiaAI Summit 2024”, guaranteeing that AI advantages are available to all and contribute to the country’s socioeconomic progress.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) is organizing a two-day event in the national capital to demonstrate the government’s “unwavering commitment to the responsible development, deployment, and adoption of artificial intelligence”.

The summit will allow renowned international AI professionals from science, industry, civil society, governments, international organizations, and academia to exchange their perspectives on critical AI issues and challenges. The event demonstrates the Government of India’s commitment to the responsible advancement of AI by encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange among global AI stakeholders.

As the lead chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI), India will host its member nations and experts to further its commitment to safe, secure, and trustworthy AI.
