India’s G20 leadership has given the world’s population, whose voices are sometimes ignored in multilateral meetings, a clear policy direction to address their demands.
Since the outbreak, the global economy has been battling a number of challenges that have negatively impacted global growth. Although recovery is already occurring, it is still uneven and will take time. The minister stated that, in the medium run, development prospects had further deteriorated and that the current rate of global growth was still far slower than the average of 3.8% in the two decades before the epidemic.
In order to set an example for others, India should not only work with its G20 partners to advance the results, but we should also investigate the best ways to incorporate these results into our own domestic policy-making process. Global and domestic policy cooperation was essential to putting growth back on track and maintaining its strength, sustainability, balance, and inclusivity.
The medium, small, and micro enterprises (MSMEs) are portrayed in the Union Budget 2023 as the driving force behind the expansion of the Indian economy. In order to fully fulfill the potential of MSMEs, India can surely take the lead in ensuring that the efforts mentioned in the Jaipur Call for Action are pursued through the G20 and the WTO (World Trade Organization).
