India can take the lead in developing sustainable aviation fuel by utilizing opportunities in the global supply chain. He noted that although sustainable aviation fuel is now significantly more expensive than conventional fuel, airlines and airports would be pressured to adopt sustainable methods.
In terms of funding, there is a difference between conventional aviation fuel and 10% blended fuel of about $350 million. In the framework of Sustainable Aviation Fuel, India may join the opportunities in the global supply chain (SAF). India can take the lead in finding solutions to the world’s challenges. Blended fuel means 10 per cent of SAF blended with traditional fuel.
As the nation searches for ways to cut emissions, the government is attempting to mandate the blending of jet fuel with SAF.
