The Asia Pacific economy will continue to grow strongly in 2024, with GDP in India and other emerging market countries predicted to rise by 5%.

Economic growth in APAC will remain strong in general in 2024, particularly in emerging markets (EMs), boosting sector outlooks throughout the region. We anticipate real GDP growth of at least 5% in India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with China continuing to outperform most other nations.

In the fiscal year 2022-23, the Indian economy increased by 7.2%. In the June and September quarters, India’s GDP increased by 7.8 percent and 7.6 percent, respectively. With strong GDP growth of 6.9 percent this fiscal year, followed by 6.5 percent in 2024-25, India is likely to be among the world’s fastest-growing big sovereigns.
